電界結合型のワイヤレス電力伝送(独立伝送形)方式について、その等価回路解析により、動作原理特性の検討を行った。まず等価回路を作成し、シミュレーション、実験と比較してその各素子定数を決定した。次に伝送効率に対する各素子パラメータの影響について検討した。伝送効率については、L とCのQ 値が与える影響は同等であること、周波数と負荷抵抗を適宜調整すれば伝送距離を伸ばせることを確認した。一方、同一アンテナにおいて金属板間のキャパシタンス(結合容量)を減らせば伝送効率を上げられる可能性がわかった。これは本方式特有の性質である。
