[あらまし]千葉大学では2020年度のメディア授業の導入を目指して準備を進めてきたが，COVID–19の発生により，その役割は大きく変化した．データダイエットなどの学生の環境への配慮を重視する方針に沿って同時双方型を避け，オンデマンド型メディア授業に限定することとした．重要な役割を担う動画配信システムに対しては，可能な限りの設計変更・資源の増強を実施するとともに，運用による対応を行った．授業開始から1カ月を経て，各サーバの利用状況等から判断し，動画配信の仕組み自体の負荷には問題は発生していない．データダイエットのためのパケット節約モードについては，節約を必要とする学生の約半数がパケットを節約できており，この機能の追加は有効であったと判断できる．
[Abstract] Chiba University has been preparing for the introduction of media-facilitated classes in 2020, but its role has changed significantly due to the occurrence of COVID–19. The policy was changed to focus on on-demand video distribution and to emphasize student environmental considerations such as data traffic reduction. The design was changed and resources were increased as much as possible, and the corresponding operation was performed. One month has passed since the class started, and there is no problem in the load of the video distribution systemitself, considering the usage of each server. It was confirmed that the packet saving function was effectively used by the students who needed it.
