[はじめに]セル成型苗の生長及び品質はセル成型苗個体群（以下、苗個体群）内の微気象の影響を大きく受ける。苗個体群外の気流速度は熱及び物質の拡散を通じて個体群内の微気象の成立に大きく関与していると考えられるが、この点に関する定量的な解明はみあたらない。しかも、人工光下における気流速度は苗個体詳内の微気象要因に大きく関与していると考えられるが、この点に関する研究は少ない。そこで本研究では、人工光下における気流制御が可能なセル成型苗育成用の風洞を製作して、苗個体群内外の気流速度分布及び苗個体群上の空気力学的な特性を調べた。
