[概要]電離層の異常は大地震の前兆現象として最も有望なもののひとつである。地圏ー大気圏ー電離圏結合理論(Lithosphere-Atmosphere -Ionosphere Coupling: LAICモデル）がこれらの現象を説明するために提案された。LAICモデルの化学チャンネルの可能性を観測学的に検証するため、我々は大気電場(AEF)、大気イオン濃度（AIC)、大気ラドン濃度(ARC)、ラドン散逸量(REQ)、気象要素の観測を行っている。大気電気学的パラメータの地震に関連する信号を検知するためには、地殻の活動によらない変動は取り除くべきである。このため、本研究ではラドン散逸量と気象要素の時系列データにマルチチャンネル特異スペクトル解析(Multi-channel Singular Spectrum Analysis: MSSA)を適用し、それらの変動の間の関連性を調査した。そしてREQの元の時系列データから気象要素の影響を受けた変動の分離することで、地下起源の地中ラドン濃度変動を評価し、地震活動との関連性を調査した。
