[概要]千葉大学では、食・健康・環境をキーワードとして国際プログラムFutureEarthの取組みを進めている。昨年3月に開催されたワークショップでは、次世代を取り込んだ未来地域デザイン科学が提案された。本研究では、原発事故による避難区域が解除された福島県川俣町山木屋地区をケーススタディとして、GISを用いて広がりあるフードスケープ、ヘルススケープ、エコスケープを表現し、専門家の力を借りながら、住民が家族ぐるみで環境について考え、自分たちの故郷再生をデザインする社会手法について検討することとした。当地では、住宅地と農地の除染は終えているが、森林は、林縁部20m以外は除染されておらず、生活や生業への影響が危惧されている。本年は、森林について今後の放射線環境を予測するとともに、GISデータを基礎にした住民の現状の被ばく状況推定を行った。
