- type:text研究種目:科学研究費補助金特定領域研究報告年度:2002年度研究課題番号:12040205研究概要:顕著な教育効果が期待できる教育方法の一つとして、CALLはすでに1960年代から外国語教師の間で知られていた。しかし、いわゆるLLと呼ばれる教育機器がそうであったように、CALLも長い間その期待に応えられる教育効果を示すことができなかった。それは、どちらも「教材の提示システム」としては素晴らしい可能性を持っていながら、妥当な「教材がない」からだと言われてきた。しかし教材不足の原因をさらに探っていくと、聴解力を中心とした基礎力及び総合力の教育法に関する「理論の不在」が原因であることが明らかとなった。我々はこの問題点を直視し、まずCALL教材の制作にも活用できる、「三ラウンド・システム」という緻密な指導理論を独自に開発した。特定領域研究の計画研究として行われた我々の研究はこの理論をベースにCALL教材を高度化し、外国語によるコミュニケーション能力の真に効果的な養成を可能にすることを目指したものである。本研究は、英語、独語、仏語、日本語の4言語グループでそれぞれのニーズに応じたCALL教材の高度化の研究を行ったが、開発された教材は、実験的試用の結果、どのグループのものも学習者、教師に好評であったと報告されている。英語グループは高度化された複数のCD-ROM教材を大学の通常の英語授業で約5ヶ月間試用し、学習効果を客観的な外部テストであるTOEICで測定した。その結果、上位群で大きなスコアの上昇が見られ、教材を試用しなかったクラスの成績との有意差も認められた。…
