研究概要:国立環境研究所では、つくばにおいて、ライダーによる雲・エアロゾルの常時連続観測を96年から実施している。このライダーは、エアロゾルの鉛直分布の気候学的な解析に関する研究の中で観測頻度を上げるために開発した装置であるが、既に2年間以上にわたってつくば上空の雲・エアロゾルの鉛直分布が得られている。このデータを用いて、エアロゾルの消散係数の高度分布の解析、雲の高度毎の出現頻度の統計的な解析、巻雲の出現頻度と光学的厚さの解析などを進めている。雲に関するこれらの研究は、2000年代の始めの打ち上げを目指してNASDAで開発されている実証衛星ライダーの解析アルゴリズム開発やデータ利用手法の基礎となるものでもある。…
