［設計趣旨］近年、目覚ましい技術の発展により社会から全能感を感じる。シュルレアリスムの画家ルネ・マグリットは、鑑賞者の知識、経験の集積を逸脱し揺るがす絵画を描いた。そんなマグリットの絵画を基に、思考を無くした現代に生きる人々の意識を呼び覚すための空間を設計し、無機質な直方体の中に臓器的に配置した。
[About this work] In recent years, I feel a sense of omnipotence from society due to remarkable technological developments. The Surrealist painter René Magritte created paintings that deviated from and shook the accumulation of knowledge and experience of the viewer. Based on Magritte's paintings, I designed a space to awaken the consciousness of people living today who have lost their thoughts, and organically arranged them in an inorganic rectangular body.
