［設計趣旨］いま、わたしたちが生きるとき、その振る舞いは概念化されすぎている。高度化しすぎた社会的ヒトが成り立たせる社会は、考えることがすこし多すぎる。わたしはもうちょっと素朴に、単純に、純粋に、自分がここにいることを考えたい。見渡したときに把握される記号的なヒトとかモノとかをいったんそのまま見てみたい。建築とはメディアであり、建築の外側にひろがる世界は質量があって実際があって確かにわたしと距離を視る。
[About this work] In the times we live in, our behaviors have become overly conceptualized. The society formed by highly sophisticated humans involves too much thinking. I want to consider my existence here in a more simple, pure, and unadorned way. I wish to look at the symbolic people and objects that I encounter, just as they are, without immediate interpretation. Architecture serves as a medium, and the world that extends beyond it possesses mass, reality, and a palpable distance from myself that I can perceive.
