Note (General): 中原悌二郎記念旭川市彫刻美術館のロビー空間に合わせ、天井の高さを生かして制作した作品である。２つに結んだ少女の髪が風に踊り、兎の耳のように見えることからタイトルを「うさぎの風」と名付け、野兎のように逞しく、風の中を走り回る子どもの姿を表現した。2017年制作に続くシリーズ作品の 2023年新作である。作品本体のサイズは大きくはないが、周囲の風を大きく動かすイメージで制作し、今回の展覧会のテーマである「風にふれて」の言葉の意味を象徴する作品となった。これまでの作品同様に蝋型鋳造技法を用いており、作品の大部分は粘土原形から石膏型を取り、そこにロウを流し込みロウ原形を作製し、その後ブロンズ素材を鋳込むという手順で制作している。少女の髪と右下の植物状のものは、粘土原形を作らずにロウの手びねり技法を用いて制作している。
