Note (General): ここで単に「四角セキ」と称するセキは両側に縮流部を持つ長方形うす刃セキのことで,全幅セキ・もぐりセキ・平たんセキ等は含まない.四角セキの流量係数式としての沖公式(昭4)や板谷・手島公式(昭26)は何れも多くの実験資料を克明に解析して,資料に忠実で簡潔な形に表現された実験公式である.当時最も優れた精度を持っていたのでそれぞれ旧JES式やJIS式に採用された.その後に流体力学的推理を利用した豊田公式(昭31)が作られ,更に小型セキの全領域を含む四角セキ総合公式(昭37)が星野氏によって発表された.一方米国においても1959年にKindsvater & Carter両氏がA.S. C.Eに新公式を提案している現状である.そこで筆者は次のことについて述べることにした.(1) 最大水頭270mmと312mmのJIS型セキについて,水頭Hを1mm毎に計算した流量係数表をのせた.(2)流量係数KをK_1とK_2の2つの線図に分けて簡単にKの値が求められるようにした.(3)JIS式の係数Kの変化のあらましを8種の表によって示した.(4)JIS式と他式とを比較して相異点を調べた.
As to the discharge coefficients for rectangular weirs with two side-contractions two formulas are compared and discussed, one being that deduced by Oki(1929) and the other by Itaya and Teshima (1949). Mr. Toyoda introduces the "interference factor" whose value is determimed from an extreme case in which the channel breadth and depth under weir crest are both infinite. Mr. Hoshino published the generalized discharge formula for all kinds of rectangular weirs (1962), while new formula of weir was proposed by Kindsvater and Carter in America (1959). The contents in this paper are as follows: (1) The writer made the precise table of discharge coefficient which was calculated at the heads of two JIS-type weirs every one mm. (2) Discharge coefficient K is divided into K_1 and K_2, and K is Obtained easily by graphical solution. (3) Eight kinds of table were made to know various range of K. (4) The others.
