- The training material is mainly aimed at those who support researchers at universities or research institutions, such as librarians, research administrators, and technical staff. They will learn how to design and practice research data management services according to researchers’ research processes. Syllabus is as follows: Chapter 1: Introduction You will learn the basic knowledge on RDM (Research Data Management). Chapter 2: Designing RDM services You will learn what you need to design RDM services according to the actual circumstances of each institution. Chapter 3: RDM support before research projects You will learn policies that researcher should comply with and the way how to help researcher to make a DMP (data management plan). Chapter 4: RDM support during research projects You will learn the relationship between research data type and security policy, data storage and institution's role. You will also learn about supporting data discovery, analysis and visualization. Chapter 5: RDM support after research projects You will learn what you need to check before publishing data and data repository as data publishing location. You will also learn about metadata, identifiers, licenses etc. to be added to the data to be disclosed. Chapter 6: Ongoing training and support You will learn about provision of training course, development of portal site, consulting service and public relations activities.「研究データ管理サービスの設計と実践」は、大学図書館員、URA、技術スタッフ等の研究支援職員が、研究者の研究プロセスに沿って、研究データ管理サービスの設計と実践の方法を身につけることを目的としている。各章の構成（シラバス）は下記のとおり。 第1章：序論 研究データ管理に関する基礎知識を学ぶ。 吉田幸苗（国立情報学研究所 学術コンテンツ課） 第2章：サービス設計 それぞれの機関の実情に沿ったサービスを設計するために必要なことを学ぶ。 天野絵里子（京都大学 学術研究支援室） 第3章：研究前の支援 研究者が守るべきポリシーやDMP（データ管理計画）の作成支援について学ぶ。 松本侑子（東京大学 附属図書館） 第4章：研究中の支援 研究データの種類とセキュリティポリシーの関係や、データの保存と機関の役割について学ぶ。また、データの発見、分析、可視化の支援についても学ぶ。 西薗由依（鹿児島大学 学術情報部）、山地一禎（国立情報学研究所オープンサイエンス基盤研究センター） 第5章：研究後の支援 データの公開前に確認しなければならないこと、データの公開場所としてのデータリポジトリについて学ぶ。また、公開するデータに付与すべきメタデータ、識別子、ライセンスなどについても学ぶ。 南山泰之（国立極地研究所 情報図書室）、尾城孝一（国立情報学研究所オープンサイエンス基盤研究センター） 第6章：日常的な支援 研修の実施、ポータルサイトの構築、窓口業務や広報活動について学ぶ。 常川真央（千葉大学 アカデミック・リンク・センター）、大園隼彦（岡山大学 附属図書館）連絡先： JPCOAR 研究データ作業部会 メールアドレス：jpcoar-rd@nii.ac.jp
