• Note (General): 『南浦文集(なんぽぶんしゅう）』は、文之玄昌(ぶんしげんしょう)（1555－1620）の詩文集。慶長3年（1598）から元和6年（1620）までの漢詩文を文之玄昌自らが編集したもの。文之玄昌は臨済宗東福寺派の禅僧で南浦と号する。島津家の厚い帰依を得た学僧で、儒学を講じ、外交顧問としての重鎮でもあった。文之玄昌が書いた書いた明・琉球・呂宋・南蛮船に対する外交文書なども収められている。川瀬一馬著『増補古活字版之研究』によれば「寛永乙丑仲秋四条寺町校正刊行」という刊記をもつ古活字版が刊行されているが、伝本が比較的少なく、一般に行われているのはこれによって重刊した慶安2（1649）年整版本であるという。本書は、この慶安2（1649）年整版本のひとつである。(2017年4月20日更新）; <I>Nanpo Bunshū</I> is an anthology of Bunshi Genshō(1555-1620). Bunshi Genshō himself edited his writings of Chinese poetry and of Chinese proses composed from 1598 to 1620. Bunshi Genshō was a priest of the Rinzai sect Tōfuku-ji Temple group and his pen name was Nanpo. He was a scholar-priest to whom Shimazu family devoted, he gave a lecture on Confucianism and he also played an important role as a diplomatic advisor. In this book, the diplomatic correspondence going to Ming, Ryukyu, Luzon and <I>Nambansen</I>, which Bunshi Genshō composed. According to <I>Zōho Kokatsujiban no kenkyu</I> by Kawase Kazuma, a <I>Kokatsujiban</I>(a book printed with old, engraved wooden blocks) which contained a publication data as "Corrected and published at Shijōteramachi in August, 1625" was issued, however, there are not many manuscripts existing, therefore the reprinted edition which was issued in 1649 is generally distributed. This book is the one of those reprinted books in 1649. (Updated on April 20, 2017)
