Note (General): 第四高等学校物理実験機器は、旧制第四高等学校（以下四高）で使用されていた教育実験用機器。四高の前身校である石川県専門学校で購入された機器も含む。昭和25年（1950）四高閉校後は金沢大学で保管。平成6年（1994）703点が石川県に譲渡され現在は石川県立自然史資料館が所蔵、輸入機器を中心とする残り91点が金沢大学の所蔵となった。その後、平成19年（2007）に金沢大学で新たに120余点が確認された。四高時代の機器購入台帳は現存しない。機器に記載・添付された管理番号は、四高物理室作成「物理機械図入目録」（金沢大学資料館蔵）の番号（例 : 流001）、四高の番号（例 : 25-5-115）、金沢大学理学部作成「管理物品原符」（金沢大学資料館蔵）の番号（例 : は.G.32）、金沢大学教養部の番号（例 : は6474）である。
