気仙沼市南郷の「みゆき英語学舎」(菅原みゆき代表)で、市民と外国人による交流会「G’ pal Time(グッパルタイム)」が開かれている。ALTに気仙沼の方言や風習、文化などを紹介しようーと、「気仙沼弁ご当地かるた」を使った交流会を実施した。参加者は、「あ」から「ん」までの札に書かれている、気仙沼弁の意味や使い方をALTに説明。かるた取りでは、絵札を取ると喜び、お手付きすると笑いが起きるなど大いに盛り上がった。
