Note (Content): Carl Schmitts Großraumtheorie ist eine Kritik am Westfälischen Völkerrecht, das auf der Grundidee der Staatengleichheit gründet, und ebenso ein Versuch, eine neue hierarchische Staatenordnung zu skizzieren. Carl Schmitt berief sich dabei auf die Monroe-Doktrin, die er als ?Präzedenzfall± einer Großraumbildung und sogar als ein Modell für einen neuen Nomos der Erde verstand.00Zeitgleich zu der Veröffentlichung von Schmitts Großraumtheorie wurde auch in Japan von verschiedenen Autoren und Politikern unter dem Schlagwort einer ?Großostasiatischen Wohlstandssphäre± eine hierarchische Staatenwelt in Ostasien propagiert. Diese wiederum ähnelt der sinozentrischen Ordnung, die dort Jahrtausende als ?Ordnung unter dem Himmel± existierte. Der Autor versucht, die Entstehungszusammenhänge dieser drei Völkerrechtsmodelle in Deutschland, Japan und China zu eruieren und darzustellen, ob es Gemeinsamkeiten der Genese oder in der Theorie gibt.
