旧蔵者の来歴: 船津孝(ふなつたかし) は1909年11月3日生まれ, 熊本県玉名郡菊水町出身. 1930年に楽洋丸で渡航. 従兄の村上武が営む雑貨店の店員として働いた後, カトリカ大学文学部に進学. 貿易会社の仕事を通じて古屋時次郎と知り合い, 後に古屋事件の関係者となる. 日米開戦翌年の1942年にペルーから北米の収容所に送られ, 1943年に交換船で日本に戻る. 1974年にペルーに再渡航
