Note (Content): La première traduction française des textes de l'artiste et écrivain japonais Akasegawa Genpei, figure de l'avant-garde tokyoïte des années 1960, sur le concept de Tomason, traduits annotés et présentés par Sylvain Cardonnel, avec une riche iconographie, permettent au lectorat francophone de connaître et d'apprécier cette extraordinaire personnalité alternative.0Akasegawa est une figure majeure issue de la contre-culture japonaise des années 1960. Plasticien, dessinateur, actionniste, essayiste, écrivain, photographe, chroniqueur, humoriste, etc., il fut de toutes les aventures underground les plus radicales : cofondateur des groupes antiart Hi-Red Center et Neodada Organizers, il fut un animateur de l'école d'art alternative Bigakk?. Il collabora avec Hijikata Tatsumi à ses débuts et mena une activité frénétique jusqu'à sa mort. Il fut l'un des rares acteurs de l'underground japonais à gagner une grande popularité par ses écrits et publications. Il créa le concept pataphysique de Tomason dans les années 1970, créant un courant anartistique alternatif d'observation des paradoxes du paysage urbain qui fut perpétué jusqu'à nos jours par ses suivants. Akasegawa demeure malgré cela un quasi inconnu hors du Japon
