道成寺縁起絵巻の一異本である酒井家旧蔵『賢学草紙』（仮題、日高川草紙とも）の精密な模写本。丁寧な彩色入り。冒頭部に原欠あり。口語表現を含む生彩ある画中詞多数あり。蛇体と化しつつ僧（賢学）を追う女房の描写に優れる。(Provided by: デジタルアーカイブシステムADEAC)

Analysis：
