- 『為朝外伝 鎮西琉球記 初篇』は、 宮田南北著、岡田玉山画。全10巻。木版。書林は、大阪：天満屋安兵衛、京都：吉田治兵衛、天保6(1835)年刊行。本書は、前編にあたる部分で、後編は『絵本琉球軍記』として別に出版されている。内容は、薩摩藩による琉球国征服を描いた絵本読本である。異国合戦の軍記である。(2017年4月7日更新）Tametomo gaiden chinzei Ryukyuki shohen was written by Miyata Namboku, illustrated by Okada Gyokuzan. It is composed a set of ten volumes. Woodblock printed. The publishers were Tenmanya Yasubē in Osaka and Yoshida Jihe'ē in Kyoto, it was issued in 1835. This book is the first part of two parts, the second part was separately published as Ehon Ryukyu Gunki (A picture book of the war chronicle in Ryukyu). The first volume is a novel with pictures which described the conquest of Ryukyu Kingdom by Satsuma domain. It is a war chronicle of the battle of foreign country. (Updated on November 4, 2022)
