- 『中山花木図』は､薩摩藩の絵師木村探元（きむら・たんげん、1679～1767）が描いた琉球植物の画に、琉球の程順則（てい・じゅんそく、1663～1734）の漢詩を付したものである。『中山花木図』にはいくつかの写本があるが、宝玲文庫所蔵の本史料は海西宮嵜の筆写、宝暦12（1762）年の成立である。海西宮嵜とは宮崎筠圃（みやざき・いんぽ、1717～1775、尾張海西郡出身の儒者）のことである。横山學『琉球国使節渡来の研究』（347～348頁）に紹介がある。また、柴田光彦「「中山花木図」新攷 程順則の讃をめぐって」（『沖縄学』10、2007年）が、本史料と他の写本との比較を行っている。 (2015年3月31日更新)<I>Chūzan Kabokuzu</I> consists of illustrations of Ryukyuan plants, painted by Kimura Tangen, who was an artist from Satsuma Domain, with Chinese verses composed by Cheng Shunze (Jpn., Tei Junsoku, 1663-1734). There are several copies of <I>Chūzan Kabokuzu</I>, but this copy in the Hawley Collection is the one copied by Kaisai Miyazaki and completed in 1762. Kaisai Miyazaki refers to Miyazaki Inpo (1717-1775), a Confucian scholar from Kaisai County, Owari (present-day the western part of Aichi Prefecture). A brief summary can be found in <I>Ryūkyūkoku Shisetsu Torai no Kenkyū</I> (pp. 347-348), written by Yokoyama Manabu.
