国際検察局が背景資料として収集した資料。国際検察局文書の別の資料群(国際検察局の雑多な文書)に含まれる"Liebert Papers"の資料リストに下掲の陸海軍合同情報調査や司法省経済戦局資料などの来歴についての記載がある。また、国際検察局が収集した報告書・命令・研究その他背景文書や国際検察局によって背景資料として使用された、日本の経済・産業・軍事・外交活動に関する雑多な文書などに類似した資料が含まれいている。なお、米国戦略爆撃調査団文書:各種日本関係情報には司法省経済戦局の資料などが含まれている。
国立国会図書館サーチのデータ入力はマイクロフィルム冒頭の目録部分をもとに入力している。このページの作成に当たっては、画像数の多い「真珠湾攻撃に関する米議会合同調査委員会聴聞会記録」は日にちごとに分割するなどしたため、国立国会図書館サーチのデータとは必ずしも一致しない。配列は、マイクロフィルムの順序を原則としたが、各項目内は資料番号順に変更した。また、Allied Translator and Interpreter Section, Southwest Pacific Area(ATIS)など件数の少ないものは、その他の資料(Miecellaneous)として末尾に一括した。
