• 一般注記: 27-28 Sept. 1999 (25th). 27-28 Mar. 2000 (26th); Grid generated turbulence in a stably and linearly stratified fluid was investigated using a special area-preserving duct which has both a vertical contraction and a lateral expansion. In this study, the second cycle of the oscillation of the vertical heat-flux with time could be identified, which is a result of the periodic energy exchange between the turbulent kinetic energy and the available potential energy. The comparison of the vertical heat flux with that of the previous experiments by Lienhard & Van Atta (non-distorted duct) and by Thoroddsen & Van Atta (longitudinally distorted duct) revealed that the special duct, similarly to the longitudinally distorted duct, has produced a high available potential energy which lead to a stronger counter-gradient flux.; 資料番号: AA0028636021; レポート番号: NAL SP-47
