Summary, etc.: 安佐動物公園で飼育していたオオサンショウウオを用いて，骨格を染色し軟組織を透明化した“透明骨格標本”を作製した．軟骨はアルシアンブルーを用いて青色に，硬骨はアリザリンレッドを用いて赤色に染め分け，軟組織は水酸化カリウム溶液およびグリセリンで透徹した．今回の手法を用いて完成度の高い標本を2個体作ることに成功し，さらに同様の手法で他種の鳥類，爬虫類，両生類でも透明骨格標本を作製できた．染色液や透徹時間などは標本ごとに調整する必要があり，課題はまだ残るが，実用に足る手法だと言える．今後さらに標本数を増やし，企画展での展示や，解説などの教育活動への導入を目指したい．
