Summary, etc.: 小児領域では成長と共に身体機能・生理機能が絶えず変化しており，この「変化」を医学的かつ薬学的に理解し，人ひとりの患児に最も適した医療を提供することが求められる。有効で安心・安全な薬物療法を提供するにあたり，我々薬剤師の果たすべき役割は大きい。小児領域において薬剤師がその職能を活かし、薬のプロフェッショナルとして小児薬物療法に貢献するために，小児を理解した上で小児領域の薬物療法を担う薬剤師を養成し「小児薬物療法認定薬剤師(仮称)」として認定する制度の早期確立が必要と考え，認定要件とカリキュラムを提案する。
