2018年度は、「16-17世紀に書写された古代イラン文献の写本研究」に向けて、下記の3つの課題に集中的に取り組んだ。1．2018年6月に、ルール大学ボーフムに於いて、“Safavid and Mughal Empires in Contact: Intellectual and Religious Exchanges between Iran and India in the Early Modern Era” Workshopが開催されたので、これに参加し、"Azar Kayvan School in Historical Context―Zoroastrianism, Sufism and Mughal India―"と題して発表した。16-17世紀のイランとインドで活躍したゾロアスター教神秘主義者アーザル・カイヴァーンに関するワークショップで、この科研テーマに最適の発表の場だった。科研費の一部は、この際の旅費に充てられた。2．上記のルール大学ボーフムでのワークショップの成果は、ルール大学ボーフム出版の論文集に纏められた。科研費の一部は、この英語論文を寄稿する際の、英文校正の費用に充てられた。3．2019年3月に、タジキスタン共和国に於いて、タジキスタン国立大学図書館、タジキスタン歴史アカデミー図書館など、合計5箇所の写本図書館で、中世・近世ペルシア語写本の調査を行った。その結果、1点だけであるが、上記のアーザル・カイヴァーン学派に属すると見られる近世ペルシア語写本を発見することが出来た。科研費の一部は、この際の旅費に充てられた。
