Note (General): 川久保遺跡は，大隅半島中部を流れ太平洋に注ぐ肝属川の支流である串良川の右岸に隣接する笠野原台地の東側縁辺部に位置する。串良川の開析によって形成された標高30～60ｍの河岸段丘上に位置する旧石器時代～近世の複合遺跡である。本報告書は，川久保遺跡のＢ地点とＤ地点についての報告である。Ｂ地点の主となる時代は，古墳時代と中世である。古墳時代では，掘立柱建物跡が３軒，埋設土器が１基，土器集中が４か所検出されている。中世では，掘立柱建物跡が３軒検出された。Ｄ地点の主となる時代は，古墳時代である。特に，谷部では古墳時代の壺形土器を多く含む遺物集中が９か所検出された。
