Note (General): 今回の調査で、弥生時代中期後葉～後期中葉の竪穴住居を3棟、土器棺墓4基、溝2条、土坑6基を検出した。これにより、弥生時代中期後葉から大規模な集落が形成されたことが判明した。さらに、後期後葉～庄内式期前半の溝に多量の土器が廃棄されていることから、この時期になっても周辺で規模の大きな集落が形成されていたと推測することができた。古墳時代の遺構も検出できたことから、弥生時代中期～古墳時代にかけて連綿と人が生活していた集落遺跡であることが判明した。
