東山貝塚遺跡は縄文中期～晩期集落址・貝塚として明治時代から周知されている遺跡である。その主体は周知範囲の北東部分が中心となっている。今回調査は大正期の区画整理により遺跡が壊されたとされる部分にあたり、調査事例の少ない北東部分の調査である。遺跡表層の残存状況は良好ではなかったが、近世・縄文時代の遺構・...
