Note (General): 吉岡大塚古墳には、第13・14トレンチの調査から周堤帯は、無かったと判断される。周溝東側の突出部分については、古墳築造の際の掘り残しと推定され、通路状の施設があったと推定される。後円部北側の墳丘中段テラスは、後世に大きな攪乱を受けているが、第16トレンチで幅1.2ｍ～1.3ｍの平坦面が確認され、後円部は幅約1.3ｍのテラスが全周していたといえる。
