本研究の目的は, 生体影響の少ない複合現実感(MR, Mixed Reality)技術の開発を通じて, MR機器の可能性を広げることである. 第一に, 幅広い情報提示を実現するための運転支援用の新しい広視野MRディスプレイを設計し, 幅広いユーザ層に対して実世界を意識した生体影響評価を定量的かつ総合的に実施できる生体影響評価システムを開発した. 第二に, 開発した評価システムを用いて予備実験を行い, 生体影響の少ないMR機器の具体的な設計指針の一端を見出すことができた.
