自己免疫性心筋炎モデルにおいてCD45遺伝子欠損マウス群(以下ノックアウト群)はコントロール群に比べて生存率については高い傾向にはあるものの、統計学的有意差は認めなかった。また心筋炎発症の有無に関する評価については、ノックアウト群において心筋炎の発症が有意に抑制された事が観察された。心筋梗塞モデルにおいては、心筋炎モデルと同様、ノックアウト群において生存率は高い傾向にあるものの、統計学的有意差は認めなかった。CD45遺伝子欠損が自己免疫性心筋炎発症の抑制および心筋炎発症後の心臓リモデリングを抑制する事を確認するとともに、心筋梗塞モデルにおいても同様の結果が得られる事を確認した。
