(1)単一遺伝子病による我が国の先天性甲状腺機能低下症(CH)の有病率1.TSHR:両アリル性変異は中等症～重症CHの4%。2.PAX8:ヘテロ接合性変異はCHの2.0%。3.DUOX2:両アリル性変異はCHの7.8%。4.TG:両アリル性変異はCHの4.9%。5.TPO:両アリル性変異はCHの2.0%。6.その他は稀。(2)多因子遺伝病によるCH:TSHRとDOUX2のdigenic mutation1例あり。(3)1.変異TSHR 遺伝子の機能:G132R, A204V, D403N, R450HはいずれもTSH結合能、cAMP産生能ともに低下。2.変異PAX8の機能:K80_A84dupは核内に移行するもののDNA結合能および転写活性能を欠如。
