消費者は, カスタマイズ製品の購買経験の過小が異なれば, カスタマイゼーション・サービスが提供するカスタマイゼーションの幅に対するニーズについても異なる。それにもかかわらず, カスタマイゼーションを推進してきた企業は, その点を考慮に入れず, 画一的なカスタマイゼーション・サービスを提供する傾向にある。本研究は, この現状を「カスタマイゼーションのジレンマ」と呼称し, その現状把握と, 考えられうる打開策の立案を実施した。 Customers with different experience levels of product customization are different from each other also in their needs to the level of customization service. However, most firms have provided their customers with a single customization service rather than various customized customization services. This research project called it "the dilemma of customization services" and conduced some studies regarding what the dilemma.
