哺乳類の胎仔の皮膚に実験的に傷をつけても, 胎生期のある時期までは傷は素早く, そして瘢痕を残すことなく治癒し, 皮膚は完全に元通りに再生する。われわれは, 胎生13日までのマウス胎仔の皮膚に創傷を作成しても完全に再生するが, 胎生14日以降の胎仔は再生せず傷跡を残すことを発見した。これをもとに, 組織切片からレーザーマイクロダイセクションを用いて, 胎生13日と15日の創傷部の表皮, 真皮別にRNAを採取して, 正常皮膚と比較することで, 胎仔皮膚再生のメカニズムに迫った。 Fetuses, to some developmental stages, have an ability to regenerate skin. We discovered that until embryonic day (E) 13, skin regenerate completely, but after E14, visible mark is left. Based on these data, we compared E13 and E15 wounds using laser micro dissection system and microarray.
