イルカは, 人間のトレーナーとの間でコミュニケーションを成立させているため, この原理を明らかにすることで, 情報デバイスを介したイルカとのコミュニケーションを実現することが期待できる。本研究では, タブレット上にトレーナーのハンドサインの画像を提示することで, イルカに対して画像による指示をできるようにする学習実験を行った。その結果, 学習不足と過学習を繰り返しながら, 画像を認識していく過程を観察することができ, 情報端末を介したイルカとのコミュニケーションに対する可能性を見出すことができた。 Since dolphins have established communication with human trainers, we can expect to realize communication with dolphins via information devices by analyzing the principle of this interaction. In this study, learning experiments were conducted to give instruction to dolphin by presenting the image of the trainer's hand sign on the tablet. As a result, the process of recognizing images while repeating learning shortage and over learning was observed, and we were able to find the possibility of realizing the communication with dolphins using the information devices.
