本研究では, 工学, 神経心理学, 神経内科学の密な連携の下で, 高次脳機能障害の診断支援に寄与するハプティクス技術の研究を行った。力触覚の検出と呈示に関する技術は人間の動作の定量化をもたらし, 状態把握に応用が可能になる。リニアモータ使用に基づくハプティック診断システム, 上肢筋特性の定量計測システム等の開発を行い, 精度の高い3次元スティフネスや上肢筋特性のデータ取得を可能にするなど, 電気工学と神経心理学をつなぐ基盤構築につながった。 In this research, haptic technology was applied to diagnosis support of higher brain dysfunction under collaboration of engineering, neuropsychology, and internal medicine. Since haptic technologies for sensing and reproducing force can quantify human motions, it is possible to recognize physical conditions. We developed a haptic diagnosis system and quantitative measurement system to obtain 3D stiffness and muscle characteristics of upper limb, etc. As a result, we constructed the fundamentals for integrating electrical engineering and neuropsychology.
