本研究では触覚を用いた身体的なインタラクションを実現するため, 触感の記録・伝送・拡張とユーザの身体運動に応じたリアルタイム合成手法の研究開発を行った。視覚や聴覚とのクロスモダリティ効果による触感の時空間性の拡張について検証し, 人の触知覚を拡張できる可能性を示した。また本研究の知見の社会実装に繋げるため, 産学連携による実証システムの構築と実証試験を行い, 福祉・知育等の分野での有用性を示した。 To develop a design methodology for embodied interactions using haptic sensation, we studied and implemented several methods of recording, transferring, enhancing, and rendering the haptic sensation in realtime. We also evaluated the cross-modal effect to enhance the temporal and spacial recognition of haptic sensations combining with visual and auditory perception. Towards social deployment of the knowledge we got in this research, we have also created several proof-of-concept systems together with companies and held user tests in welfare and education fields.
