光音響イメージングによって、リンパ浮腫の外科的治療であるリンパ管細静脈吻合術(LVA)における術後の開存評価や、リンパ管や静脈系に生じる変化について評価した。LVA吻合部に注目すると、リンパ管と静脈の両者が同定できるもの、リンパ管か静脈のいずれかが消失したように見えるもの、両者が消失したように見えるもの、の4パターンを認めた。これらのうち、両者が同定できるものが吻合部の開存を示す所見であるものと思われた。一部の症例では、吻合部においてリンパ管から静脈に向かってリンパ流が生じる様子を動画で記録することが可能であった。 Photoacoustic imaging was used to evaluate postoperative patency in lymphangio-venular anastomosis (LVA), a surgical treatment for lymphatic edema, and to evaluate changes in the lymphatic vessels and venous system. Focusing on the LVA, four patterns were observed: those in which both lymphatic vessels and veins could be identified, those in which either lymphatic vessels or veins appeared to have disappeared, and those in which both appeared to have disappeared. Of these, those that could be identified by both were thought to be findings indicating the patency of the anastomotic site. In some cases, it was possible to observe the dynamic lymphatic flow from the lymphatic vessels to the veins at the anastomotic site.
