Note (General): 本研究では、膠芽腫患者由来の9種類の膠芽腫幹細胞株を使用しNotch阻害剤であるγ-セクレターゼ阻害剤(MRK-003以後MRK)の有効性をin vitroで評価した。MRKにより膠芽腫幹細胞の細胞増殖抑制、アポトーシス促進、幹細胞形質の喪失を認めた。膠芽腫幹細胞株にはMRK高感受性群と低感受性群が存在した。CD44の発現量が高く、CD133の発現量が低い膠芽腫幹細胞様細胞にMRKは有効でありCD44およびCD133発現量はNotch阻害剤感受性のバイオマーカーになりうると考えられた。
