研究者は、不飽和化合物であるアルキン誘導体を出発原料とした銅(I)触媒反応の開発を検討した。その結果、9-BBN型アルキルボラン/アルキノエート/スズアルコキシドの銅(I)触媒高選択的三成分カップリング反応を用いたアルケニルスズ化合物の合成法を開発した。さらに、分子状水素を用いた内部アルキンの銅/N-ヘテロ環カルベン錯体触媒シン選択的水素化反応を見出した。
The researcher examined copper(I)-catalyzed reactions using alkyne substrates. As a result, a copper-catalyzed three-component coupling with alkylboranes, alkynoates, and tributyltin methoxide was developed as a versatile route to trisubstituted alkenylstannanes. Additionally, syn-selective hydrogenation of internal alkynes with molecular hydrogen under the influence of a catalytic amount of copper complexes was achieved.
