Note (General): 中性子や放射光、X線などを利用した二次元検出器方式の（残留）応力測定技術の開発を目標として、データ解析理論（cosα法）の適用を軸に検討を行った。実験室X線、高エネルギー加速器研究機構等の放射光、等による基礎実験をもとに検討を進め、X線領域での実験検証により、現在の世界標準技術(sin2ψ法）に比べてほぼ10倍の高速測定とともに、装置の小型化による可搬性向上が可能である特長などが判明した。さらに、強加工を受けた鋼材で顕在化する三軸応力状態が出現したサンプルに対しては平面応力解析に比べて一層の効率的測定が可能であることを示し、転動接触疲労が重要な鉄道レールに対して有効に適用できることを示した。
The purpose of this study was the development of a method for residual stress measurement using quantum beam and area detector. The study was conducted based on the fundamental experiment by means of laboratory X-rays, synchrotron radiatin at the High Energy Accelerator Research Organization etc. It was found that high speed measurement of stress faster than about ten times than present world standard method is possible, as well as downsizing of the equipment and portability. It was also shown that this method is effective for samples in which tri-axial stress state occured, such as steels processed heavily. This method was applied to railway rails, for which rolling contact fatigue is important.
