本研究では、大規模企業主導のオルタナティヴな食料供給ネットワーク(以下,大規模AFN)における「オルタナティヴ性」のもつ意味を、「ネットワークの質」の観点から検討した。その結果、以下の点が明らかとなった。大規模AFNは、部分的であれ「相互作用を軸とした主体間の水平的関係」を構築している点で、「オルタナティヴ」な性格を有しているといえる。しかし,一方で垂直的な「官僚制組織」も内包しており,「ネットワーク型組織-ヒエラルキー型組織」のハイブリッドな形態を呈している。
One of the key questions that this research aims to address is : What is alternative about the 'alternative' food networks (AFN) constituted by large food company ? After analyzing the sake supply network of big company, I got conclusion as below. AFN of large company seems to be at least partly alternative, because it includes horizontal relationships among network participants. However, there are also vertical and bureaucratic organizations within the network. Thus, large company's AFN represents hybrid forms between 'network' and 'hierarchical' organizations.
