我々は、遺伝子組換えにより弱毒化したインフルエンザウイルスの第8RNA分節を利用し2Aプロテアーゼ介在配列を用いた、安定で遺伝し発現レベルの非常に高い、インフルエンザウイルスベクター系を開発した。そこで、当該ウイルスベクター系を腫瘍ワクチンとして応用することを考えた。インフルエンザウイルスベクター系にCAT,BAX,EGFP,HIV-1 gp41遺伝子等を導入したウイルスを回収した。培養細胞レベルでの解析を行った。遺伝子組み換えウイルス、および、親ウイルスをマウスとサルに摂取し、LD50、体温・体重変化、インターフェロン産生、IgA、IgG抗体量の継時変化、CTL誘導活性等、免疫学的、病理学的解析を行った。ウイルスは高度に弱毒化され、かつ高い免疫原性を有していた。得られたサンプルの詳細な解析を行っている。
