本研究では粒子分散液流れの数値シミュレータを開発して、デッドエンドおよびクロスフロー精密ろ過プロセスに適用することによって、膜細孔径、開孔比、電解質濃度などのプロセス変数が膜の目詰まり（ファウリング）に及ぼす影響を調べた。その結果、ファウリングの形態、発生メカニズム、発生条件が定量的に明らかになり、透過流束や粒子阻止率などの膜ろ過プロセスの性能を推算する方法を示すことができた。　In this study, we have developed a numerical simulator of particulate suspension flows. We have applied the simulator to dead-end and cross-flow microfiltration processes, so that we have investigated the effects of the process parameters, such as pore size, open pore ratio and electrolyte concentration, on membrane fouling. As a result, we have clarified configuration, mechanism and condition of the fouling, and obtained an estimaion way of microfiltration processing capability, such as permeate flux and particle rejection ratio.
