• Note (General): 建屋免震によって水平方向に地震力は大幅に低減されるが、上下動成分はそのまま伝達される。そこで、機器レベルの上下免震構造を組み合わせた3次元免震を実現すれば、地震荷重が構造設計の主要因子となっている現状からの抜本的な合理化と信頼性の向上が可能になるものと期待される。本研究ではこのような着想から、原子炉容器等の大型重量機器を対象とした上下免震構造の概念が技術的に可能であるかどうかの基礎的検討を行っている。現状の免震技術は積層ゴムを用いた水平免震に関するものがほとんどであり、重量機器の上下免震に関する検討例は皆無に近いのが現状である。そこで、まず上下免震を実現するために必要な課題の摘出・整理とこれらに対応する基礎的研究開発の計画を策定した。次に、機器上下免震の基礎的検討の第一歩として、上下動に関するこれまでの原子力発電所施設の耐震設計の現状、上下地震動及び建屋の上下動応答等に関する基礎的な調査を行うとともに、機器を対象とした上下免震について、その構造概念の検討と使用可能な免震要素についての検討を行った。また、上下免震を適用した場合プラント構造への影響評価の一環として、上下動スロッシングに関する検討を行った。これらの検討の結果、大型の皿ばね等、金属製のばねを免震要素として用いる上下免震構造の概念は、実現までには種々の課題の克服が必要であるものの、技術的に可能な概念であるとの見通しを得ることができた。; In a base isolated plant, the vertical component of ground motion is directly transmitted to the upper structure, while the horizontal components drastically mitigated. Hence, if one can combine a vertical isolation at equipment level, it will substantially enhance plant economy and safety from the conventional design where the seismic load is among the governing factor. From this point of view, a basic study was made on whether the concept of vertical isolation has engineering feasibility. Up to now, the research and development has almost dedicated to the horizontal isolation system with rubber bearing and no major work has been done for the vertical isolation concept. Therefore, a research program plan was first established on the important technical issues for the vertical isolation. Then as the first step of the vertical isolation study, investigations were made on the current design practice agaist the vertical component of seismic loads, vertical ground motion, and response of structures. A conceptual study including the structure and devices were made on the equipment vertical isolation system. These basic studies has revealed from engineering aspect the feasibility of equipment vertical isolation using metal springs such as dish springs as isolation devices.
