• Note (General): 本報告書は高速実験炉「常陽」の照射試験について、その業務進捗状況をまとめたものである。報告の期間は昭和53年10月から昭和54年3月までである。主な進捗状況は次のとおりである。(1)照射装置組立検査施設は、建物概念設計、建設地点の地質調査、内装機器概念設計が終了した。連設地点は高速実験炉の運転管理棟北側とし、地上2階、地下1階、ピット深さ12mで、地下16mの細砂層上に建設される。建物は東西約45m、南北約27mで、高さが約20mである。(2)「常陽」のMARK-1炉心における炉心構成要素の照射後試験計画と試験の要望項目をまとめた。検査用炉心燃料集合体10体、運転用炉心燃料8体、ブランケット燃料10体、調整棒7体、安全棒2体なとの取出時期、本数、及び被試験集合体が決定された。(3)「常陽」MK-2の照射試験基本計画が策定され、それに従って昭和54年度からの開発計画工程の検討を行った。その結果、54年度初めから新たに開発研究や設計検討を早急に実施する必要のあるものが摘出され、対策を検討中である。(4)「常陽」MK-2用各種照射装置の開発試験は所期の計画当りに、ほぼ順調に進展している。(5)照射技術開発の1つである中性子束分布測定に関し、米国エネルギー省との間のワイヤ交換協定が成り、「常陽」MK-175MW第3サイクルで米国製ワイヤの照射を炉心9A1の照射リグで行うことになった。また、「常陽」の標準作成作業を同時に行い、ワイヤカプセルの仕様検討作業を進めている。; This progress report describes engineering work performed from oct. 1, 1978, to March 31, 1979, on irradiation tests using "JOYO". Summaries of current work are as follows : (1) The preliminary design of the Irradiation Rig Assembly Facility (IRAF) and the soil research are completed. Floor arrangement was fixed. A design specification for machine tools and equipments for inspection and testing was made. (2) The post irradiation examination program for the MK-I core components was prepared. These components are ten test fuel subassemblies, eight driver fuel subassemblies, ten blanket subassemblies, seven regulating rods, two safety rods, etc. (3) The JOYO MK-II irradiation test plan was determined and the R\&D program was reviewed. Some modifications will be required for the existing program especially for example on the material irradiation rig development. (4) The research and development work scheduled in fiscal year 1978 are being completed with some exceptions. (5) A dosimeter exchange program was agreed between U.S.D.O.E. and PNC. A DOE dosimeter set will be irradiated in the third cycle of JOYO MK-I core of 75 MW thermal output. The irradiation will be performed at 9A1 position in the material surveillance irradiation rig.
