Note (General): 微小重力による骨量低下は、長期宇宙飛行において宇宙飛行士の健康管理の観点から深刻な問題となりうることが米国およびロシアの経験から指摘されている。この対策案として、宇宙飛行中における運動プログラムの効果が検討されているが、有効性を認める知見は報告されていない。一方、運動に代わる骨量低下抑制手段として骨粗鬆症治療薬ビスフォスフォネートの有用性が期待されており、地上検証実験(ベッドレスト実験)により良好な成績が報告されている。しかし、その際に用いられた経口アレンドロネートは、食道粘膜における潰瘍の発生リスクを有し、実際の微小重力環境下での投与を想定すると、この点が無視できないものとなる。そこで本研究では、静注パミドロネートに利点を見出し、90日間ベッドレストに伴う骨変化(全身各部の骨量、骨代謝)およびCa出納の変化を検討するとともに、ベッドレスト前1回の薬剤投与による骨量減少予防効果を、抵抗トレーニングの有用性とともに比較検証することを目的とした。
