Nowadays the method of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) is widely used for solving various problems in science and engineering fields. Difference approximation is a popular method for the CFD. Many works have been done for the theory and application of the difference approximation, and various difference schemes have been developed to improve the quality and reliability of computations. But there still remain a few problems in the quality or reliability of numerical results obtained by the difference methods. Some of the problems happen even if the difference approximation might converge to the entropy solution (i.e., the physically relevant unique solution). Such problems are really numerical, and can be analyzed only when it is recognized that a practical computation is conducted with the difference increments fixed finite values, but not with those tending to zero. Here it is concerned with such problems of numerical behaviors. Some results obtained from the analysis related with the Oleinik's E-condition are shown. Then some future problems are proposed.
