陳後主は、唐朝にいたる歴代天子の中でも三番目に多い巻数の文集を残し、その生涯を通して六朝の栄華と退廃をつぶさに見た天子である。陳後主の文学はいかなるものであったのか。その全容を明らかにすることは、五十巻に及ぶ文集の全てが残存するわけではないために困難を伴うが、本論文において、後世の諸論に見える陳後主文学の評価を、唐代の文章と明清に編修された陳後主文集とをもとにして明らかにした。
